Our mission at the Shreya R. Dixit Memorial Foundation is to raise awareness of distracted driving, educate our community on safe and distraction-free driving, and encourage drivers to be mindful of the safety of other drivers and passengers on the road.

To achieve our mission, the Shreya R. Dixit Memorial Foundation strives to empower individuals to drive safely on the roads through various means. Our internship program allows individuals (drivers and non-drivers) to participate in our effort in a fun and interactive way.

The internship program is led by the Founder and President of the foundation Vijay Dixit. As well as the Teen and Youth Outreach Team led by Iesh Gujral, Suvarna Nallamalli, and Emily Schmeling.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our mission at the Shreya R. Dixit Memorial Foundation is to raise awareness of distracted driving, educate our community on safe and distraction-free driving, and encourage drivers to be mindful of the safety of other drivers and passengers on the road.

To achieve our mission, the Shreya R. Dixit Memorial Foundation strives to empower individuals to drive safely on the roads through various means. Our internship program allows individuals (drivers and non-drivers) to participate in our effort in a fun and interactive way.

The internship program is led by the Founder and President of the foundation Vijay Dixit. As well as the Teen and Youth Outreach Team led by Iesh Gujral, Suvarna Nallamalli, and Emily Schmeling.

Applications are open for both Leadership Team and General Interns. There will be four committees available: General Marketing Committee, General Writing Committee, Special Project Marketing Committee, and General Video/Visual Committee. Each Committee will have 1 leadership team member, and 3-5 interns. Please look at the following information for thorough details:

Application Deadline

Internship Time frame:
Leadership Team: May 10th-July 25th
General Interns: June 10th-July 25th

General Workload
5-6 hours/week

Compensation:
$14/hour for Leadership Team
or $425 stipend for General Interns

General Qualifications:
-Ages from 13-22 years old eligible for the internship program (exceptions may be granted)
-Must be a high school or college student in America (exceptions may be granted)
-Curious individuals who demonstrate a passion for making a difference
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Strong collaboration skills
-Flexible Schedule
-Minimal experience necessary
