WHAT: A critical, timely and thought-provoking roundtable discussion about the challenges we face in creating, implementing and enforcing distracted-free driving legislation. Participants include Minnesota state legislators, corporate leader, and safety advocates. Cargill and The Shreya R. Dixit Memorial Foundation collaborated to organize and host this event.
WHY: By offering insights on distracted driving behavior and its implications, we hope to develop a plan for action on hands-free driving legislation. Industry leaders, business organizations, advocacy groups and attendees will leave the roundtable with a clear and mutual appreciation of the challenges we face in combating distracted driving. The event will serve as a
call to action and mobilization effort among a coalition of industry and community supporters for enacting hands-free legislation in Minnesota’s upcoming session in February 2018.
